A good friend of mine had recently put a good friend of his, I'll call Jeff, in touch with me. Jeff, who has had a great 30 year career as a CFO and CEO in a few different companies has been in transition for about one year. His severance pay from his last company ended 5 months ago and although he is on unemployment benefits at the moment, his income is not keeping with his expenses.
